Since 22 April 2026 the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform is the successor of Vertex AI and therefore also of Vertex AI Agent Builder. It combines Agent Studio (low-code), the Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent Runtime, Memory Bank and governance features such as Agent Identity, Agent Registry and Agent Gateway. More than 200 models are available through Model Garden, including Gemini and Claude.
