Joule Studio is SAP's development environment for building custom Joule agents, Joule skills and workflows for SAP and non-SAP systems, in the browser or through a pro-code flow. An agent receives expertise, instructions and tools such as Joule skills, document grounding, MCP servers and APIs. Joule agents can use other custom Joule agents as tools, so a procurement agent can, for example, orchestrate sub-agents for compliance, negotiation and inventory. Usage is licensed via SAP AI Units on SAP BTP; pricing on request.
