Cloudflare Agents SDK
Agent SDK on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects
The Cloudflare Agents SDK is a TypeScript library for building and running stateful AI agents on Cloudflare Workers. Each agent is a Durable Object with its own SQLite database, WebSocket connections, scheduled tasks and resumption after interruptions. With sub-agents, a parent agent spawns child agents as their own Durable Objects with isolated storage and calls them through typed RPC stubs, which enables parallel or nested agents and agents as tools. The SDK is MIT licensed, and running it is billed according to Workers and Durable Objects pricing.
Good fit if
Focus: Developers who want to run stateful agents globally on the Cloudflare platform
- your project is about Chat agents with durable state, Parallel orchestration of subtasks or Voice and email agents
- someone on your team writes code
Probably not if
- nobody on your team writes code (1/5 for use without developers)
- there is little time for training (learning curve: steep)

- DeveloperGoogle Agent Development Kit (ADK)The Agent Development Kit (ADK) is an open-source framework from Google for building, evaluating and deploying agents in code. It is available for Python, TypeScript, Go, Java and Kotlin and offers workflow agents for sequential, parallel and loop flows, plus graph-based workflows since version 2.0. ADK is optimized for Gemini but also works with Claude, OpenAI models and local models; deployment targets include Agent Runtime, Cloud Run and GKE.View profile
- DeveloperMicrosoft Agent FrameworkMicrosoft Agent Framework is Microsoft's open-source framework for agents and multi-agent workflows in Python and .NET. Version 1.0 shipped in April 2026 and is the unified successor of Semantic Kernel and AutoGen. A graph-based workflow engine supports branching, parallelism, checkpoints and human approvals; ready-made patterns exist for sequential, concurrent, handoff, group chat and Magentic-One orchestration. MCP and A2A are supported.View profile
- DeveloperAG2AG2 is a Python framework for multi-agent systems that evolved from AutoGen and is maintained by volunteers from several organizations. Since version 1.0, multiple agents run via AG2 Network: a hub manages the registry, write-ahead log and audit trail, and agents communicate over typed channels (conversation, consulting, round-robin discussion, workflow with conditional handoffs). The classic API with ConversableAgent, Group Chat and Swarm moved to a separate package as AG2 Classic and is still maintained. AG2 is licensed under Apache-2.0; for organizations the website also lists the AG2 AgentOS runtime with access on request.View profile
